Super Junior, Girls’ Generation Wins Artist of the Year, Album Sales Top 3.4th Quarter
Super Junior and Girls’ Generation each grabbed number one trophy respectively in third and fourth quarter.
‘Gaon Chart K-Pop Award’ winner is selected based on the data collected by Gaon chart over the past year. ‘Gaon Chart K-Pop Award’ not only gives trophies to the artist themselves but to the music industry workers as well.
The award categories not only include artist of the year, new artist it also has producer of the year, composers, songwriters, new media platform, stylists, Oricon special, and kpop contribution.
‘Gaon Chart K-Pop Award’ included Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, Wonder Girls, BEAST, T-ara, SECRET, Davichi and more.
